Welcome Father Peter Patrick Kimani

New Shared Pastor for St. Sebastian and St. Catherine Parishes

We are pleased to announce that based on the recommendation of the Priest Placement Board, Milwaukee Archbishop Jerome Listecki has confirmed Father Peter Patrick Kimani as the shared pastor for St. Sebastian and St. Catherine Parishes.

Currently associate pastor at St. Robert in Shorewood and Holy Family in Whitefish Bay, Fr. Peter Patrick is originally from Nairobi, Kenya. He studied for the priesthood at St. Francis Seminary in Milwaukee from 2010 through 2014, when he was ordained.

Fr. Peter Patrick is described by many who know him as a very kind, compassionate person eager to get to know the parish communities, their talents and abilities. It is anticipated that he will help us all move forward in faithful discipleship.  Read more about his fascinating background in this Catholic Herald article and from the Saint Robert website.

Current shared pastor Fr. Larry Chapman previously had announced his retirement, and events to honor him are being planned for the weekend of June 8-9.

Fr. Peter Patrick will begin his ministry on Tuesday, June 18. For more information about how you can help with the transition, contact cluster administrator Carole Poth, cpoth@saintsebs.org.
