The garden is doing beautifully now after a little slow start due to the cool, rainy weather.  The St. Sebastian Sustainability group donated seedlings and seeds for the garden plot. Thanks to Kurt Zimmerman for the extra tomato plants.

We have been harvesting greens and swiss chard for the food pantry the past 3 weeks. This week they got a bag of green beans too. The kale is almost ready to be cut and it looks like the tomatoes will be ready very soon.

The city donated a rain barrel that was installed on the west side of the convent building.  It’s working wonderfully.
