Opening for a
MUSIC COORDINATOR
Looking for someone who will perform on piano and coordinate the music and choral worship experience of the parish community at 9 a.m. every Sunday and on Holy Days. Major components of the position include:
- Coordinate and prepare liturgies, in cooperation with the pastor and/or deacon.
- Collaborate with the Spiritual Life and Worship Committee to manifest the liturgical vision ofr the year and for sacramental celebrations.
- Foster parishioner participation in the liturgies.
- Produce the weekly Order of Worship.
- Can operate a sound system.
- Plan the music for all liturgies including weekend (along with choir members), weekday, school liturgies, penance services, baptism, etc. as needed. Direct the performances.
- Direct and accompany the choir. Plan and coordinate practice(s)/rehearsals.
Ten hours per week. Benefits include: flexible schedule, up to four weeks of unpaid time off, use of office computer and software, potential access to the church for approved practice or performances.
