Child Formation Programs
St. Sebastian and St. Catherine offer a variety of choices for families interested in helping children and teens become faith-filled people. Our leaders work with the pastor and other parish ministries to bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ alive in the community, in our homes, and within our hearts. The teachers – catechists – strive to be attentive to the needs and concerns of the children while remaining faithful to the Gospel challenge to proclaim the Kingdom on earth. Families may choose to participate in any program in either parish whether or not it is your “home” parish.

Catechesis of the Good Shepherd – Catechesis of the Good Shepherd is a Montessori-based method of faith formation that invites children to explore materials and discover hands on. Level 1 is for children, ages 3 (must be potty trained) to 6 and meets Sundays from 8:45 to 10 a.m., in the Atrium (located in the school building- enter through the church). Levels 2 & 3 are for children, ages 7 to 10, and meet Mondays from 5:45 to 7:30 p.m., in the Atrium (enter at the far northwest school entrance).
Faith Formation Classes – Grades K4-5. Held at St. Sebastian from 9:00 to 10:15 a.m. two Sunday mornings each month, this program offers scripture-centered catechetical education, take-home packets, prayer and service, and special programs for families. Classes are scheduled to facilitate family participation in Sunday morning Mass.
Vacation Bible School operates from 9am to noon for one week during the summer, focusing on different biblical figures. Planning for VBS will begin soon. Contact Morgan Frank at mfrank@saintsebs.org if interested in joining the planning team.

REGISTRATION
Click on the link below or scan the QR code to fill out the registration form. Our registration form requires your family to first be registered within the new church management system. Once you have created a profile you can register each child in the various formation programs all at once.
The fee for Faith Formation is $75. You will be prompted to pay this fee when registering your child(ren). We do not want any family, who is unable to pay the fee, not to register. Please speak with Father Peter Patrick or any member of the formation team, if your family needs options regarding the fee.
