{"id":5517,"date":"2022-07-05T11:44:11","date_gmt":"2022-07-05T16:44:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/saintcatherine51.org\/?p=5517"},"modified":"2022-07-05T11:51:51","modified_gmt":"2022-07-05T16:51:51","slug":"music-coordinator-position","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/saintcatherine51.org\/?p=5517","title":{"rendered":"Music Coordinator Position"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-heading\"><strong>Opening for a<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-heading\">MUSIC COORDINATOR<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Looking for someone who will perform on piano and coordinate the music and choral worship experience of the parish community at 9 a.m. every Sunday and on Holy Days.&nbsp; Major components of the position include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Coordinate and prepare liturgies, in cooperation with the pastor and\/or deacon.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Collaborate with the Spiritual Life and Worship Committee to manifest the liturgical vision ofr the year and for sacramental celebrations.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Foster parishioner participation in the liturgies.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Produce the weekly Order of Worship.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Can operate a sound system.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Plan the music for all liturgies including weekend (along with choir members), weekday, school liturgies, penance services, baptism, etc. as needed.&nbsp; Direct the performances.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Direct and accompany the choir. Plan and coordinate practice(s)\/rehearsals.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ten hours per week.
